Poland -10th Anniversary of the Polish Antarctic Station 

This stamp from Poland depicts a Seagull flying over the the ship Pogoria to commemorate the ships trip to Antarctica in 1980.  The Pogoria is the first large sailing ship fully designed and built in Poland. It was built in the Gdansk shipyard .  The stamp was issued as part of a set of 6 stamps commemorating the 10th anniversary of the Polish arctic research base "Henryk Arctowski" on King George Island.
