Chile - PanAmerican Conference

This stamp from Chile depicts the Palace of the Congress building in Santiago Chile.  The 5th PanAmerican Conference was held in Santiago Chile in 1923.  The "Treaty to avoid or prevent conflicts between the American States" was the major accomplishment of the 1923 conference.  This stamp is one of the eight stamps issued with this design.
